Don Sirey, Principal

Don has over 15 years of experience in both contingency staffing and onsite contract recruiting and has recruited primarily for technology companies in Silicon Valley and Boston/NY geographies.  Prior to starting DS Staffing in 2003, he worked for Technology Search International (TSI), as Technical Recruiter while growing into manager   and Partner positions.  Don has earned a BA from Lafayette College in PA, and MBA from Binghamton University in NY.   

DS Staffing has completed hundreds of successful searches over the years for many exceptional companies.  Some include:  Silicon Graphics, Network Appliance, Symantec, Salesforce.com, Vontu, Ironport, Meru Networks, Quantum, Sling Media, Cisco, and many others.

Snapshot of current positions:

QA Mgr (leading cloud computing company):

• 5-7 yrs of QA experience in a software company with min. of 3 yrs in QA management role
• Extensive knowledge of QA tools, such as Selenium, and Junit, and methodologies

Lead/Sr Test Automation Engineer (QE):

• At least 4+ years experience in SQA, both black and white box
• Good programming skills in Java or C++ and/or strong background with JUnit, NUnit, or Selenium.

Mobile Client developers (pre-ipo):

• 2+ years of mobile applications development on Android, iPhone, Blackberry, or Symbian.

Sr Software Engineer/Technical Architect (Public network security company):

• 2+ years in sw development for application level networking applications (TCP/IP)
• C, C++ or Python development background

Systems SW ENgineer (MTS)

• Proficiency in C/C++, data structures and kernel debugging techniques required
• Strong background in systems s/w required

SWMGR, Storage/IO

• 7-10 years mgmt of os/storage product.
• Must have full commitment to sound software engineering practices and a passion for quality
